A "Print Preview" button would be good...I wouldn't expect it hard to add, since "Create Report" already has it.
As far as adjusting the print area, I think Synchro will already print whatever is right in the middle of the current view. I suggest simply adjusting the view/zoom before you choose Print Window. There shouldn't be too much guess and check work once you take into consideration your printer's default paper size/orientation and have gotten used to using Synchro's Fit Width/Height options. If I could recommend any new features for "Print Window" it would be to add an option for printing multiple "sub-windows" on a single page. For example: if I have a 100-signal network and wanted to showcase six specific intersections on one page I would choose "Print Window," then select the # of window panes I want to use from a dropdown list (e.g., 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.), each one having an adjustable Pan/Zoom to catch the different intersection geometry and striping you don't see when printing window of the whole network all at once |
