1. Network licensing.
2. License borrowing, like on AutoCAD. The way the licensing currently works, the worker has no way of taking his work home, unless the company purchases a non-transferable (and seldom used) home license for the employee. Synchro: 1. Auotomatic encoding of prevailing laneage. When a new node is placed in the middle of an existing roadway, Synchro should maintain the same laneage along that roadway. The default is no laneage. 2. Graphical crosswalk depiction/automated suggested ped crossing time based on global paramenters and crossing length. 3. Separate max from force off. 4. Input pedestrian volume by approach, rather than conflicting vehicle. 5. Suggested pedestrian calls/hr based on volume. 6. Ability to create a node in the middle of a curved link. 7. (wishful thinking) Connection with Google Earth. 8. The option of having Synchro automatically reducing minimum split to its actual minimum (through removal of crosswalk, altering of Y+AR or minimum green). The current system often leads to optimization errors, especially by the inexperienced. 9. PHF for pedestrians. |
