Hello,
I was wondering how 3D Viewer 7 handles overpass sections created in Synchro. Is there a way to account for changes in elevation associated with these types of facilities? Thanks, Bruce Allen Delaware Department of Transportation |

Hi Bruce,
Yes, 3D viewer will show roadway segments over and under based on the Z elevation. The elevation is set for the end point of the links, not for the link itself. Thanks, John. John Albeck Trafficware |

Hi John,
I am trying to 3D Viewer 7 with Z Elevation as well. One funny thing I saw is vehicles are rolling on their front axle only. Looks like a stunt show on the street. Is this caused by drastic change in the Z elevation? |

I have also noticed the phenomena of vehicles
doing some strange things (riding on the front or back axels) when I try to code z-elevation on some of my links. This problem is especially pronounced when I code a freeway interchange. Is it possibly related to intersecting links that violate the -20% angle rule? |
