I have Just installed Synchro 7, SimTraffic, and 3D Viewer 7 (Build 763 Rev 73). Synchro and Simtraffic work fine, but when I open the 3D Viewer it crashes right away.

I noticed it's crashing when it's loading the model files.

I deleted the the C:\Program Files\Trafficware\models folder and now it opens up but when I open the Demo3D.s3d file located in C:\Program Files\Trafficware I don't see any models, obviously.

I place the models folder back and it crashes again.


Inside the models folder there are 7 .mod files along with a bunch of other folders. After further investigation it turns out that I can only keep the
peds1.mod
residential1.mod
warehouses1.mod
files and the 3D viewer will work fine, but the other models are missing from the display

If ANY 1 of the following models are returned back to that models folder then 3D viewer crashes:
officebuildings1.mod
streets1.mod
treesandshrubs1.mod
vehicles1.mod

I have tried rebooting, reinstalling. Can anyone help me? What version are you all running?

Thank you for the detailed post. I did talk to the programming team about this. Do you mind creating a ticket and the programming team will be happy to assist you. With the ticket, they may ask for some files that will help them troubleshoot this.

To get to the ticket system, from Synchro go to Help>Support. The email and password would be shown in your activation email.
