Is there a way that we can display street names and/or background images/dxf's in the 3D viewer? Thus far, I have been unable to do this.

To get the background image to appear, run the simulation with the background image. In SimTraffic, go to Options>Map-Settings and ensure that the 'DXF or BMP' checkbox is checked.

Actually, I should clarify. I have gotten the image to serve as a background. The DXF is the one that I am having trouble with. I do have the bmp/dxf box checked in the map settings for simtraffic. The DXF shows in Simtraffic, but not in the 3D viewer.

Another point I'd like to make is that I don't see street name labels in the 3D viewer. Is that normal? Thanks.

Any luck on finding the solution? I also am now having difficulty with the bitmap as well. I would like to use the 3D viewer, but am having difficulty orienting myself when looking at the simulation. Thanks.

Could you log onto the support system and send me the Synchro (*.syn), parameters (*.sim) and any background image? Also, if you could attach a screenshot of the issue, that would be helpful.

To follow-up, the 3D Viewer does not support a DXF background. Just the bmp/jpg format.
