Is it possible to code a series of 2 and 3 level interchanges (SPUI's) on a single alignment, showing underpasses, sliproads, at grade junctions and overpasses in a Synchro file?
Thanks

Yes, this is possible. In the node settings window, there is a setting for "Z Elevation", with a default of 0 ft. By changing the elevations of the appropriate nodes, you can create grade seperated interchanges.

I've never tried anything that complex, but you might find something below helpful:

You can set the elevation (Z) for each node under the "Node Settings" window. I do not think you can set vertical curves between nodes, so the links will be straight line.

When you are drawing links, hold down the Ctrl key to keep Synchro from putting a node where you cross an existig link.

Hope this helps,

Mark
