Hello,

I am trying to model an intersection at which one of the approaches does not have specific right-turn lane. However, there is a right-turn flare, which is controlled by yield sign, or approximately 50 feet length.

I thought Synchro Version 6.0 models this situation. But, I do not see any option to replicate this situation.

Hi Sripathi,

Go to the Lanes window. Code the right shared with the through lane. Then, go down to the Right Turn Channelized setting in the Lanes window. Choose "Yield" for the control and then set the radius.

This really won't have any impact on your macroscopic Synchro analysis. However, it will simulate in SimTraffic appropriately.
