Good-day,

I am trying to model an intersection with split times that change based on pedestrian actuations. For example the EW phase has a split of 20 seconds and the NS phase has a split of 70 seconds.
However, when the EW ped phase is triggered the EW split changes to 30 seconds and the NS phase is shortened to 60 seconds.

I have tried to model this by putting my EW movements all on phase 4 and making phase 8 a pedestrian phase. I then coded the shorted split on phaase 4 and the longer split on phase 8. It appears to operate correctly but I'm not sure where the extra time is going when there is no pedestrian actuation and I'm worried it could be affecting my coordination.

I have read a number of forum posts related to this and it looks like it is not possible to do this acurately but just in case I thought I'd ask.

Any thoughts?
