On a recent project we were trying to determine the fuel savings anticipated for our roadway improvement.
In the equation shown below a stop is defined as "total stops in vehicles per hour." Does this mean stops/ vehicle/ hour or total stops for all vehicles in a hour? F = TotalTravel * k1 + TotalDelay * k2 + Stops * k3 Thank you, Vasu |

Please note...I tried to backwards calculate Synchro's output using the formula and could not get the exact fuel consumed value.

It is the Total Stops for all vehicles in the hour. It will be difficult to get the exact value due to rounding issues.
