I am modeling a couple of unsignalized intersections that connect freeway ramps with the local roadway. The intersrections have channelized, free right-turns with an add lane. I am getting a LOS F on the free right turns with an add lane? Please help.

Hi,

The unsignalized methods do not model free rights. This is based on the HCM chapter 17 methods. If you want to exclude them, you do not code the free rights in the analysis. If you do, they will be modeled as stop control. This is even if you code Free Right for channelization in the Lanes window. The Free right would be modeled for simulation with SimTraffic.
