I am attempting to model an intersection that has two right turn lanes. One of them is channelized (HOV) and not controlled by the traffic signal at all; the other one is controlled by the signal and must turn on the outside of the island.
As it stands, I cannot get Synchro to treat these two lanes as different movements. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Hi Campbell,
In Synchro, dual right (or lefts or throughs) are treated as a lane group. So, you can't treat the lanes in the lane group different. You might try putting in a dummy 5th leg to the right of your turns. This would create a R1 and R2. You could then treat these two rights individually. Thanks, John John Albeck Trafficware |

Thanks for your help John -- I'll give it a shot and see how the results turn out.
