Hi,
I am analyzing actuated-coordinated adjacent intersections. I need to coordinate the left turn of one intersection with the through movement of another. May I ask how to code a simulation using SIM Traffic? What can I set to take into account the signal coordination? Thanks This message has been edited. Last edited by: TraffixJam, |

Hi TraffixJam,
For coordination, Synchro will coordinate the intersections if they are: 1) Connected with a link 2) Controllers are set to Pretimed or Act-Coord 3) The cycles are equal, 1/2 or double There isn't anything else needed for this. If the volumes are heavy from the through to the downstream left, this will be considered in the optimization. Usually you set the reference phases to the main street throughs, but you could set this for the downstream left if you wished. Thanks, John. John Albeck Trafficware |
