I am working with a Synchro file and its corresponding SimTraffic file. If I open SimTraffic through Synchro (press the SimTraffic button) the SimTraffic re-seeds and re-records. If I open SimTraffic through a different SimTraffic window it doesn't re-seed or re-record.
The file location on the server hasn't changed and nothing in the file has changed, I am just opening it a different day. Is there a problem, or is this just what happens. Thanks for the help.
Brad Try this - stop the re-seading and go to the drop down menue with the numbers of the seed you have already recorded. Then choose one of the numbers. It should just play back the simulation for you

Once a SimTraffic History file has been recorded, it is available for playback (viewing and pulling out reports). If you were to launch SimTraffic from Synchro with the same file name that overwrites the history file and started to record an new history file. To playback a recorded SimTraffic History file launch SimTraffic from the start menu and select the file you desire to view from the open menu.
I agree with this. I think when Simulating even one simulation, the "multiple runs" should still be utilized. This adds a -(run number) onto the end of the SimTraffic .hst file. It can't be overwritten just by starting SimTraffic from Synchro.
