I have a confusion regarding Saturation flow used in SimTraffic simulation recording. I know "Saturation flow rate calculated in Synchro is NOT USED in SimTraffic". Default of value of Synchro headway factor 1.0 corresponds to 1850vphpl in SimTraffic.

If I want 1900vphpl or lower, say 1650vphpl sat flow rate, do I have to adjust the headway factor manually in Synchro to see equivalent estimation effect in SimTraffic?

The HWF should automatically update based on your settings in Synchro. This is:

HWF = 1/[FW x FG x FP x FBS x FA] x 1.3 -0.3

The values are lane width, grade, parking, bus stops and area type.
