I have a project where there is an unsignalized roadway between signals. The unsignalized roadway only allows a left turn from the major roadway to the minor roadway (EB-NB). This movement is mainly heavy vehicles going to a river port, with a crical gap of 6.1 seconds. The opposing mainline through (WB) is very heavy. I am not getting a queue build up on the left turn but am wondering if Synchro or SimTraffic have any out put of what the actual gap for the opposing WB through is at this intersection?

SimTraffic does not provide critical gap as a MOE. If you are not seeing the backup you would expect and you have confidence in your input variables, you might try the following:
- ensure the HV fleet mix in SimTraffic includes more than just single unit trucks
- lower the turn speed slightly
