As I understand it, Synchro will use an available two way left turn lane in the analysis for two-stage gap analysis. Are there plans to include the simulation of this in SimTraffic?

Yes, this has been considered but needs considerable changes to the driver lane choice, gap acceptance methods. We do continue to look into these features and requests. In addition, the FHWA continues to look at new algorithms through their NGSIM program.
