As a part of an impact study review, I am being asked to look at another consultant's Synchro and SimTraffic files for the project. I have obtained all the Syncrho files (.syn, .sim, .~yn & .hst) from the consultant via our FTP site.
The .hst files are numbered (from a multiple run scenario), and every time I try to access the file in SimTraffic, the program starts seeding and rerecording the simulation. I do believe that I have got all the information I need to view these files (as noted in Chapter 20 of the manual), and this works fine for the consultant, but I can't figure out why SimTraffic keeps rerecording the simulations.
Anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

We are trying to select the run from the drop down menu, and the numbered run is listed in there, but every time I select the run seeding and rerecording starts.
I did some testing in house and found when I ran multiple runs, I had to have an unnumbered HST file in the directory as well in order to prevent a rerecording of the number simulation. The consultant also walked me through the steps they took to create this unnumbered HST file, but this did not solve the problem.
