In T-S diagram in the future, it would be nice if when the cursor is over a vehicle flow line, that line will blink or show a different color along its trajectory.

I like the idea. It would be nice to see the trajectory of the vehicle on the arterial. My intial two concerns are:

1) Vehicles will turn out of the network. So, the line may not proceed from one extreme to the other.

2) Vehicle flow lines can even disappear. If you are over-capacity, flow lines will disappear.

Thank you for the quick response.

Similarly, it may also be good if Simtraffic allows users to tag a vehicle(s) to make a distinctive mark, so that we can visually track where they are. This can help choosing better offsets. (I just noticed this feature is indeed already in there and I have even used it a while ago but forgot about it. nice!)

Better yet, it can be so tracked that its travel time is recorded, the way we drive a real test vehicle for a travel time survey. This info can be used to compare to the Simtraffic travel time reports (collecting statistics from all vehicles).

I must have been playing too much computer games lately.
