Hi, every one. I have a question regarding model calibration. Let's say if I have a calibrated Synchro model, should I calibrated it again after I transfer it to CORSIM model using the "transfer" tool? Or I can say the CORSIM model is already a calibrated one? Thanks.

Hi Cheng,
If you send a calibrated Synchro file to a CORSIM *.trf file, you will still need to calibrate the CORSIM file. There are many mutually exclusive calibration items since Synchro is a macroscopic model and CORSIM is a microscopic model. So, think of Synchro as a good start to data entry, but additional adjustments will likely be needed in CORSIM. Thanks, John. John Albeck Trafficware |
