Hi, Does anyone know whether Synchro 7 has new capabilities to code the light rail line?

As far as I know, nope. Synchro is mostly for surface street analysis (HCM or ICU) and signal timing optimization. Nothing multimodal (unless you count the peds crossing in crosswalks).

Mark is correct, Synchro and SimTraffic do not model light rail. Some users attempt to trick the model with dummy roads, but at best, it is a very simplistic trick and far from close to reality.
