I am trying to code the following AWSC intersection:
EB: L-T-R shared (1-way off-ramp) WB: L-R shared NB: T-R shared SB: None (1-way on-ramp) It appears Synchro for whatever reason will not let me set the WB movement for single L-R shared unless I include the through direction as well. If I run with this setup could I just simply neglect inputting traffic volume for the WBT? If so, will my Synchro LOS/VC and SimTraffic models turn out unaffected? (i.e., to reflect that WBT movement is prohibited since there is currently R5-1/R5-1a DO NOT ENTER & WRONG WAY signs there) |

Hi Gregory,
Yes, do go ahead and code the WB as a WB L/T/R shared. Do not code a volume for the WBT and it will be ignored. Notice that on the Map view, the WBT will not show an arrow on the Map. This is a special rule in Synchro and allows you to code a shared L/R at a 4-leg intersection. Thanks, John. John Albeck Trafficware |
