I can find no information in the User Guide about coding a three-phase pretimed signal, with permissive phasing on each of the three streets (East-West, North-South, and Northwest-Southeast. Please help.

Hi Jack,

You could simply code the first movements at phase 1, the next as phase 2 and the 3rd movements as phase 3. For instance, say you have:

1. EB/WB
2. NBL/NBT
3. SBT/NBT

You'd code the EB and WB movement as '1' (be sure that the lefts are permissive since they must yeild to oncoming traffic). The NBL would be phase 2 Protected. The NBT would be phase 2+3 (actually type in a 2 + 3 to tell Synchro this movement works with both phases. And, SB would be phase 3.

Thanks,

John.

situations like this might also call for a look through the Options->Ring and Barrier Designer in Synchro.
