Hello,

I got a very strange question recently. I am doing signal optimization for 4 intersections. I got a good result on Monday, printed out the report and saved the optimized Synchro file. However, when I open the same Synchro file yesterday, I found the LOS for one of the intersection became "F" before I made any changes to the original file. This intersection was LOS "D" after I optimized the network cycle on Monday and I didn't make any changes to the Synchro file yesterday. I compared the report I got yesterday and the report I got on Monday, everything is exactly the same except for the Queue Delay on the WB approach for the problematic intersection. As a result, the LOS and total delay for that intersection changed as well. But other than that, all the volumes, timings, coordination look the same for all the intersections, and the delay for all the other intersections didn't change at all. DId any one encounter such problem before?

Thank you!

Ying

I have similar problem. For me, LOS change when I after I check the "Lock Timing" box and close the file. When I reopen the file, the LOS change. I e-mail Trafficware about this. They told me it may have something to with the build version and I should get the latest build version from their website. I did that, everything went away.
